Nascida em Chicago (EUA) a 17 de Setembro de 1968, Anastacia Lyn Newkirk - conhecida simplesmente como Anastacia (pronúncia: é-nass-tei-cha) - é uma cantora pop cujo período de maior sucesso se centrou na primeira metade da década de 2000, na Europa, Ásia, América do Sul e África do Sul. Apesar de ser americana, Anastacia nunca teve grande sucesso no seu país natal. A cantora possui um regist[r]o vocal de meio-soprano e é conhecida como "the little lady with the big voice" (a pequena mulher com a grande voz).
