Biografia:
Amely começou como um projeto de estúdio do vocalista/guitarrista Petie Pizarro, que começou a escrever canções que tinham muito potencial, ele decidiu gravar um EP, On My Own, em Sound Vision Studios, em Jacksonville, Flórida, com o produtor Daryl Phennager ( Red Jumpsuit Apparatus). Pizarro tocou todos os instrumentos na gravação, incluindo a guitarra, baixo, piano e sintetizadores. Trouxe Nate Parsell para gravar bateria, a dupla completou a EP em junho de 2008.
