"Bread" é um grupo de norte-americano de rock, formado em 1968, em Los Angeles, na California. O grupo foi um dos mais populares do início da década de 1970, que se notabilizou por belas composições melódicas e harmonia bem trabalhada.

O Bread foi formado em 1968, a partir do encontro entre David Gates e James Griffin. Acrescidos da presença de Robb Royer, o grupo começou a tocar nos bares de Los Angeles e contratado pela gravadora Warner/Elektra - inicialmente apenas para ser uma banda de estúdio.
