Biografia:
O grupo Alcazar foi criado em 1998 com três membros: Andreas Lundstedt, Tess Merkel e Annikafiore Kjaergaard.
O primeiro single, chamado "Shine On" não chamou muita atenção na Suécia, foi só com seu segundo single que conseguiram sucesso na Europa e fora dela, a musica chamada "Crying At The Discoteque" sampleia a musica "Spacer", da cantora Sheila B. Devotion, de 1979.
Ambos singles citados acima aparecem no primeiro album do Alcazar, chamado Casino.
