Biografia:
Um dos vocalistas mais importantes do jazz nos anos 80, Bobby McFerrin nasceu em Nova Iorque em 1950 e estudou piano em uma universidade californiana. Começou a carreira de cantor se graças ao amigo comediante Bill Cosby, e, em 84, lançou “The Voice”, disco que entrou para a história do jazz por conter apenas voz, sem qualquer outro instrumento. Ao longo dos anos 80 e 90, McFerrin gravou com parceiros como Herbie Hancock, Yo-Yo Ma e Chick Corea álbuns de relativo sucesso.
