“The One” é o álbum de estreia tanto da banda Air Traffic Controller (ATC) e da gravadora Sugarpop Records, e foi produzido pelo maestro de power pop/rock Bleu. A cabeça por trás da ATC é Dave Munro, que serviu a marinha americana como controlador de tráfego aéreo. O disco nasceu enquanto Munro estava no exterior, "Fazer música, na época, era meramente uma maneira de lidar com a saudade e um relacionamento de longa distância."
