Biografia:
Agnes Obel é uma cantora dinamarquesa nascida em 1981. Morou em Copenhagen e veio de uma família de músicos. Ela aprendeu piano muito cedo, sua mãe costumava tocar Bartók e Chopin. Em sua infância, Agnes encontrou inspiração no trabalho de Jan Johansson que é uma mistura de folk e jazz.
Ela fez o ensino médio no "Det frie Gymnasium" e o superior na Universidade Roskilde University. Com a ajuda de um músico e produtor dinamarquês chamado Elton Theander
