Biografia:
Aaron Copland (14 nov. 1900 - 2 dez. 1990) compositor estado-unidense nascido no estado de Nova Iorque, que se tornou particularmente conhecido por trabalhos que refletem vários aspectos da vida na América. Iniciou seus estudos musicais ainda na adolescência. Em 1921, foi a Paris, onde tornou-se o primeiro americano a ser aluno em tempo integral de Nadia Boulanger. Entre suas obras estão três balés (Rodeo, Billy the Kid e Apalachian Spring);
