Biografia:
Allan Carl Newman (nascido em 1968) é um músico e compositor canadense. Foi membro das bandas de indie rock Superconductor e Zumpano nos anos 90. Depois do dim destas bandas, ele reapareceu como líder do The New Pornographers em 2000.
Com o nome A. C. Newman lançou seu único álbum solo.
