Vera Lynn uma cantora Inglesa, cantou e encantou os soldados durante a II Guerra Mundial, foi ela que cantou a canção We will meet again, composta por Parker e Charles que é também o nome de um filme, é uma das sobreviventes da II Guerra Mundial.
Ela é um patrimônio nacional de todo o Reino Unido, tão popular e conhecida como a Rainha Elizabeth II.
Vera Margareth Welch nasceu em 20 de março de 1917 em Londres. Mais tarde, adotaria o sobrenome de solteira de sua avó, Lynn, como nome artístico.
