Biografia:
The Velvet Underground foi uma banda de vanguarda na década de 60, caracterizado por um estilo experimental, pouco comercial para a época. A banda tinha como mentor intelectual o artista plástico estadunidense Andy Warhol, que se dizia cansado da pintura e promovia incursões por outros campos artísticos como a música e o cinema. Apesar das suas grandes músicas, a banda não fez sucesso enquanto esteve ativa, seus álbuns não vendiam muito e sempre haviam conflitos internos.
