The Finches es un grupo de San Francisco, California, con un estoli entre pop y folk.
Carolyn Pennypacker Riggs es la voz solista y compositora de los temas, que toca acompañada por artistas tan diversos como Vashti Bunyan, the Marine Girls o Mirah. Junto a Aaron Morgan (Roots of Orchis), el debut musical tuvo lugar con el álbum "Human Like a House" en 2007.
