Biografia:
Besnard Lakes são uma banda de indie rock formada em 2003.
São provenientes de Montreal, Quebec, no Canadá e os seus membros fundadores são marido e mulher: Jace Lasek e Olga Goreas.
O grupo é constituido por 6 membros e o seu nome tem como inspiração o Lago "Besnard", em Saskatchewan.
Lasek é dono dos estúdios "Breakglass", estúdio este onde decorreram as gravações do 2º albúm da banda, que contou com as participações de membros de outras bandas, como os Silver Mt. Zion, Dears e Stars.
