Biografia:
Strata é uma banda composta por 4 integrantes de Campbell, California.
Eles lançaram dois cds independentes antes de conseguirem o seu contrato com uma grande gravadora. Em 2001, com o nome de "Downside", eles lançaram um cd com apenas 9 faixas chamado "Sleep" e em 2003, um cd de 7 faixas chamado "Now the Industry is Outnumbered. Their Factories are Burning Down", já com o nome de Strata.
Em 2004, lançaram seu terceiro álbum pela gravadora Wind-up Records.
