Biografia:
The Smiths foi uma banda inglesa, surgida na cidade de Manchester e bastante popular na década de 1980. A sua música já recebeu diversas classificações ao longo dos anos, seja como Pós-punk, Rock Alternativo ou até mesmo o abrangente (e genérico) rótulo de Rock Inglês.
Sua formação principal (1982–1987) foi Morissey(Vocais), Johnny Marr(guitarras,teclados, baixo), Andy Rourke(baixo) e Mike Joyce(bateria).
