Antes de fazer sucesso como Owl City, o cantor tinha um outro projeto chamado Sky Sailing. Imagine Fireflies com menos efeitos eletrônicos e mais violão e piano: assim podemos resumir o outro projeto de Adam Young.
O compositor norte-americano anunciou o lançamento de um disco do Sky Sailing para o mês de julho. Com o título "An Airplane Carried Me to Bed", o álbum é uma verdadeira volta ao tempo, segundo Adam.
