Young Galaxy é uma banda de indie rock/dream canadense, formada por Stephen Ramsay (vocais/guitarra), Catherine McCandless (vocais/teclados) e Stephen Kamp (baixo/vocais)
Young Galaxy foi formada em Vancouver, Canadá, primeiramente como um duo que incluía Stephen Ramsay e Catherine McCandless. Durante o verão de 2005 e primavera de 2006 eles se apresentaram e gravaram com ajuda de amigos no Jace Lasek’s Breakglass Studio. Seu som tem sido descrito como similar às bandas Slowdive, Galaxie 500 e Luna e também Pink Floyd e Spiritualized.
