Biografia:
Wings foi uma banda de rock dos anos 70, liderada por Paul McCartney, formada após o fim dos Beatles. Durou de 1971 até 1981. A banda atingiu bastante sucesso embora tenha mudado constantemente de integrantes. Somente três integrantes permaneceram do início ao fim: Paul McCartney, Linda McCartney (mulher de Paul) e Denny Laine.
Logo após o fim dos Beatles, Paul McCartney lançou seu primeiro álbum solo somente com a participação de sua mulher, Linda, nos vocais.

A very beautiful song. The middle part, I called it "Solo/Instrumental" here,
seems somehow out of place, though. As I see it, McCartney wanted just a
little t o o much here. Michael Jackson covered the song on his "Off the Wall"
album (nice version, too!), turned the arrangement 100% pop and consequently
left out this part. I usually do so, too.
The first two bars of the verses alternate between G and G6, but the bass plays a
high "e" underneath, so the second chord could be interpreted as Em. Whatever
one calls the chord, I wouldn't suggest playing a standard Em shape (0-2-2-0-0-0)
because the "e" is just hinted at in the bass line and the guitars do not follow
this "hint" with a full blown chord change. To my ears, the G and the following
G6/Em chord have a lot in common, so I wouldn't highlight the subtle difference
too much by using a full Em voicing - the hint is enough to me (see my playing
suggestion for the verse pattern in the tab section below). I use the chord name
G6/E just to remind the player of this. Check out different options and settle
on the one that satisfies you most.
