A Widespread Panic é uma banda de rock americana de Athens, Geórgia. A formação atual inclui o guitarista/cantor John Bell, o baixista Dave Schools, o baterista Todd Nance, percussionista Domingo 'Sunny' Ortiz, o tecladista John 'JoJo' Hermann, e guitarista Jimmy Herring. Michael Houser e George McConnell também tocaram o violão principal da banda.
Desde o seu princípio, em 1986, a banda alcançou seu lugar entre as grandes 'jam bands' americanas como os Allman Brothers
