Biografia:
Após o fim do Blind Melon, Brad Smith e Cristopher Thorn formaram o Unified Theory com o baterista Dave Krusen (ex-Pearl Jam e Candlebox) e o vocalista Chris Shinn, lançando um álbum auto-intitulado em 2000 (exatos 5 anos após o lançamento de "Soup"). O disco teve pouca repercussão e a banda se separou no ano seguinte.
