Biografia:

The Trash Can Sinatras, now generally known as Trashcan Sinatras, are a Scottish band who began in Irvine, Scotland in 1987. TrashCanSinatras: Maybe I Should Drive
Put a capo on the first fret, and pretend playing the chords listed:

Intro: D G A D
D
I'm on a B road heading for the sea
Em
To see if hands across the ocean
A D
Shake or wave
D
Through the whiplash of the windscreen wipers
Em
I can see for miles
A
But all I do is watch the time
D
And the driver's hands

He harbours thoughts on personal grief

I said your hardship's

Only one of a fleet

That didn't go down well

CHORUS
D A
Listen son if you'd spent
Bm
Your life in the last lane
A Em D A
You would have an accent to grind
D A
Punch-drunk on patriotism
Bm
Blind-drunk on borderism
A D G A D
Maybe I should drive

D
And while you're castaway

The mice'll play
Em
They'll have a license
A
To dull those left back home
D
What about those poor souls?

CHORUS

Em D
And as I jumped to these conclusions
Em D
He thumped his feet on the brakes
A
But we still hit a songwriter
D G D G Em G D
Trudging through the rain

A
Scrambled out and watched him

Rest in pieces
Bm
Said a prayer and rifled
E
Through his pockets

But the side of his mouth
A
Still had something to say
D
At the toss of a coin
G
I end up head in the dirt
A
And tail in the air
D
Yet you can dance away
G Am
But be it friend of hard-up-man

=46ellow or kin
D
When the chips are down
G
They're down for good
