Conhecidos pelas suas composições com ruídos imperceptíveis à primeira audição e pelas excentricidades escondidas atrás das palavras do vocalista Maynard James Keenan, Tool é uma banda cult e arrasta consigo uma legião de fãs apaixonados pelas sonoridades transcendentes do grupo.
Desde seu princípio a banda conta com o guitarrista Adam Jones, o baterista Danny Carey e o vocalista Maynard James Keenan.
