Biografia:
The Trammps, formada pelos vocalistas Jimmy Ellis, Harold Doc Wade, Stanley Wade e Earl Young, foi uma das primeiras bandas disco'. Criada na Filadélfia (EUA), seu primeiro sucesso foi lançado em 1972: Zing! Went the Strings of My Heart (regravação de uma canção de 1943 interpretada por Judy Garland). A primeira música disco' que lançaram foi Love Epidemic em 1973.
São mais lembrados pela música Disco Inferno (de 1976) que foi incluída na trilha sonora do filme Saturday Night Fever em 1977
