Foram descobertas em um show de talentos pelo gerente Vince Marc, que as apresentou aos compositores Sandy Linzer e Denny Randell. Linzer e Randell escreveu a maioria das músicas gravadas por elas, incluindo os seus E.U.A. # 2 hit single "A Lover's Concerto ", e também produziu o grupo 1965-66 gravações no registro Bob Crewe DynoVoice rótulo. As vendas globais deste disco ultrapassou os dois milhões de cópias, com um disco de ouro atribuído pela RIAA em 1965.
