Biografia:
The Stranglers são uma banda Inglesa, formada em 11 Setembro de 1974 em Guildford, Surrey. Originalmente eles chamavam-se "The Guildford Stranglers". Começaram tocando rock num pub e logo decidiram explorar novos estilos musicais. No inicio, em 1976, foram conotados como um grupo de punk rock, muito por culpa do primeiro tour na Inglaterra. The Stranglers foram tambem associados ao estilo New Wave assim como gothic rock, mas o seu estilo proprio nunca atingiu completamente nenhum dos anteriores.
