Biografia:

The Statler Brothers é um grupo de música country americano que começou a carreira em 1955 em Staunton, Virgínia.

Inicialmente, eles tocavam música gospel nas igrejas locais, o grupo se apresentava como "The Four Stars" e mais tarde como "The Kingsmen". Em 1963, quando a canção "Louie, Louie" do grupo também chamado The Kingsmen ficou famosa, eles mudaram o nome para The Statler Brothers. Apesar desse novo nome, apenas dois dos quatro membros eram irmãos, e nenhum deles se chamava "Statler".
