Biografia:
O The Rasmus é uma banda de rock alternativo de Helsinki, Finlândia, formada por um quarteto de jovens em 1994. Eles tocavam em festas natalinas escolares. Atualmente, o The Rasmus tem sete álbuns e duas coletâneas, e é considerada uma das melhores bandas finlandesas e europeias. No entanto, somente a partir do quinto álbum, Dead Letters lançado em 2003, que a banda ganhou reconhecimento mundial.
O primeiro nome da banda foi Sputnik e era inicialmente formado por Lauri Ylönen (vocal/violão)
