Biografia:
The Raincoats foram uma das pioneiras bandas rock totalmente feminina. Juntaram-se em 1978, em plena histeria pós-punk, na cidade de Londres que ainda ressacava os recentes ícones Sex Pistols e The Clash e abraçaram a new-wave que chegava do outro lado do Atlântico, de Nova Iorque. Eram quatro raparigas e a mais velha era portuguesa – madeirense de nascimento e Ana da Silva de seu nome.
