Biografia:
Os Pastels começaram na mesma Escócia dos irmãos Reid, do Primal Scream e de tanta gente boa e mais ou menos na mesma época: 1982.
Tudo começou quando Stephen Pastel resolveu começar uma carreira musical, tentando fugir da vida modorrenta de Glasgow. Nas décadas seguintes, ele seria um enorme divulgador das bandas de seu país, ajudando não apenas o Jesus and Mary Chain a dar os seus primeiros passos, assim como o Teenage Fanclub e até o Belle & Sebastian.
