Biografia:
The Kooks é uma banda britânica de indie rock formada em Brighton em 2004. A banda foi formada no colégio onde todos estudavam, Hoover High School. O vocalista e guitarrista Luke Pritchard e o baixista Max Rafferty formaram a base da banda enquanto estavam envolvidos em projeto da escola. Mais tarde, entram o guitarrista Hugh Harris e o baterista Paul Garred, que escolheram o nome da banda tirado de uma música de David Bowie, do álbum de 1971, "Hunky Dory", intitulada "Kooks".
