Biografia:
The Knickerbockers foram um grupo de pop rock mais relembrados pelo seu sucesso de 1965, "Lies". A banda foi formada em 1962 em Bergenfield, New Jersey, pelos irmão Beau Charles (Guitarras e Vocais) e John Charles (Baixo e Vocais). Em 1964, eles encontraram Buddy Randell (Vocais e Sax). Buddy, anteriormente, tocou nas bandas Rockin' Saints e os The Royal Teens, que fizeram sucesso com a música "Short Shorts", em 1958. Eles tiraram o nome da banda da estrada "Knickerbocker Road" que passava próxima a sua cidade natal.
