Behold The Hurricane

The Horrible Crowes

Biografia:

Fallon announced the formation of the Horrible Crowes on January 20, 2011, on his blog, explaining that "the name comes from a poem called the "Twa Corbies", which means "two crows". He added: "Check it out, it's a dark commentary on life. It's the darker side of soul music, it's slow, it slithers, and it's raw. At the same time, the melodies and pianos are a juxtaposition to the topic material because it's eerily soothing. I'm really proud of what's been coming out and we'll see how it goes

The Horrible Crowes - Behold The Hurricane

Tuning : DGCFAD

[Intro]
C Am (x4)

C Am
I remember everything we had. Every breath of this house creaking.
C
I'm familiar with the cold and the windows and the doors.
Am
And the sound of my heart beating.
G
Beating in and out of time.

C Am
And it's such a shame. I heard the wind say this morning.
C Am
Be still my heart. I age by years at the mention of your name.
C Am
What a pity this season. You remember me my lover.
C G
I don't recognize myself. I'm not the man you love.
Am G F
Behold the hurricane. Behold the hurricane.

C Am (x3)

C Am
I walk around these empty rooms. We once moved like the morning.
C
Silhouettes they haunt this house like a memory haunts me now
Am G
As if it were a dream, as if it were a dream.

C Am
And it's such a shame. I heard the wind say this morning.
C Am
Be still my heart. I age by years at the mention of your name.
C Am
What a pity this season. You remember me my lover.
C G
I don't recognize myself. I'm not the man you love.
Am G F C
Behold the hurricane. Behold the hurricane.

E E Am F
I heard the moon has visions of her nightly.
E E Am F
I heard the mighty rivers cry out her name.
Am F
And I saw the heavens and the earth.
Am F G
Yes I saw the heavens and the earth cry over you.

C G A F
At the door the leaves had fallen.
C G
Suddenly I realized that you were gone.
A F
Suddenly I realized that you were gone.
C
Behold the hurricane.
