Biografia:
Em 1972 Mike Leander, um talentoso musico, compositor e produtor teve a idéia de gravar uma nova música com uma nova sonoridade com seu amigo e artista recém batizado artísticamente de "Gary Glitter".
Para os som que ele imaginou, precisava de dois saxofones. Pediu ajuda ao seu amigo John Rossall. Ele trouxe o saxofonista Harvey Ellison. Mike, Gary, John e Harvey tocaram e gravaram então " Rock'n'Roll partes 1 e 2".
Quando o single foi lançado, foi direto para o Top 20 alcançando o número 2.
