Biografia:
o pouco sucesso dos free design na década de 60 ainda continua um mistério.formados por quatro irmãos, chris, bruce, sandy e ellen dedrick, dos quais o compositor era chris, os free design gravaram canções que deveriam ter ombreado com outras bandas da época, como os the beach boys, the association ou the mamas and papas, com quem muito se assemelham, nomeadamente nos vocais em coro.
