Biografia:
Nascido em Jacksonville, Florida, Derek Trucks teve o primeiro contato coma guitarra aos nove anos, e rapidamente foi considerado um prodígio do instrumento.
Hoje é casado com a cantora/guitarrista Susan Tedeschi com quem tem dois filhos. Seu estilo musical é bastante influenciado pelo blues e pelo jazz mainstream.
Sua banda (The Derek Trucks Band) foi formada em 1994 e é a sua principal atividade, acompanhada de uma série de participações em discos de outros artistas.

originally by the great Buddy Guy. They mellow B3 part is transcribed for guitar (play it
a slow groove over a double time beat) and the slide is in Bm pentatonic. --Mo Love
