Biografia:
the brilliant green (··; coloquialmente conhecido como BuriGuri, pelos fãs) é uma banda japonesa de rock alternativo de Kyoto, formada em 1995.
Seu debut single sob o selo da gravadora Sony, bye Bye Mr. Mug foi lançado em 1997. A banda é famosa pelo singles "There will be love there -Ai no aru basho-" (tema do dorama Love Again), "Tsumetai Hana" e "Sono Speed de" (tema do dorama Over Time).
Em 2001, o the brilliant green foi considerado a 4ª melhor banda do mundo, segundo a revista americana TIMES.
