Biografia:
The Blow é o nome do projeto musical da artista visual e compositora pop Khaela Maricich com base em Portland, Oregon. Ela é de Seattle's Queen Anne Hill, morou em Olympia, Washington por uma década e recentemente é a artista-residente no Portland Institute for Contemporary Art. Ela também participou da banda The Microphones
Começa a usar o nome The Blow em 2002, e de 2004 a 2006 colaborou com Jona Bechtolt, programador e cantor de sua banda-de-um-homem-só, a YACHT.
