Biografia:
The Bangles é uma banda estado-unidense de rock composta somente por mulheres, seguindo a linha traçada pelas The Go-Go's no início dos anos 1980. Formada em Los Angeles, Califórnia em 1981 como The Supersonic Bangs, teve o nome posteriormente comprimido para The Bangs. Foram novamente forçadas a mudar seu nome para The Bangles por causa de uma banda de Nova Jersey com o nome The Bangs.
A formação original da banda era Susanna Hoffs (guitarra e vocal), Debbi Peterson (bateria, vocal e baixo) e Vicki Peterson (guitarra, vocal e baixo).
