Biografia:
Banda escocesa de Dundee. Pós-Punk, New Wave e pitadas dark no som do Associates. Formada inicialmente por Billy Mackenzie (vocais), Alan Rankine (guitarras e teclados) e Michael Dempsey (baixo), Dempsey depois seria baixista do The Cure, uma das referências aqui. "The Affectionate Punch", é o debut da banda lançado pela Fiction Records, um disco que atirava em várias direções. 'The Affectionate Punch' é Bowie pura, 'Amused as Always' é Talking Heads, 'Long Time' e 'Transport to Central' estão mais pra Cure.
