Apesar de jovem - Teddy Geiger tem apenas 24 anos - o músico revela que competência e talento não lhe faltam. Ele mesmo gravou guitarra, piano, baixo e bateria para seu álbum. Diz a lenda - e seu site oficial - que o músico é auto-didata e que começou a compôr com apenas 8 anos de idade.
Foi com o concurso "In Search of the New Partridge Family", do canal VH1, que ele se tornou conhecido fora do circuito 'teen' de Nova Yorque e atraiu a atenção do produtor Billy Mann que já trabalhou, entre outros, com Sting e Pink.
