Muito antes da Anastacia, houve Taylor Dayne, ou melhor, Leslie Wunderman, de seu nome verdadeiro, dona de um vozeirão respeitável. Para além dos atributos vocais, Taylor apresentava uma imagem engraçada, com os exageros típicos da época. A farta cabeleira assumia natural destaque.
Nasceu em Nova Iorque e, antes de enveredar por uma carreira a solo, integrou grupos com nomes como Felony e The Next.
