Biografia:
O "Taste" foi formado em Cork, na Irlanda em agosto de 1966, com Rory Gallagher, Norman Damery e Eric Kitteringhan, os dois últimos sendo depois substituídos pelo baixista Charlie Macraker e o baterista John Wilson. Junto com Hendrix e Cream, Taste foi um dos pioneiros do heavy-rock, da violenta amplificação de clássicos do blues rural como Sugar Mama (uma das preferidas de Rory). O grupo se firmou em Londres e fez vários shows na Irlanda e Alemanha.
