Biografia:
De Orange County, California, Taken formou-se em meados de 1997 entre os guitarristas Chad Tafolla e Dan Baird. A dupla queria sair de seus esforços punk anteriores e avançar para um som mais pesado. À medida que os dois escreveram novos materiais, eles preenchiam lentamente as lacunas de pessoal da banda. Depois de meses de práticas e shows, Taken atingiu o estúdio para gravar uma demonstração, que seria lançada no final de 1998 em Here We Are Records.
