Biografia:
Após as gravações de "The Human Equation", Arjen Lucassen ficou impressionado com a voz de Marcela Bovio. Isso o inspirou a criar novas composições, todas baseadas no estilo de Bovio. Para ajudá-lo, chamou o até então namorado e tecladista da outra banda de Marcela, Alejandro Millán. Para os postos de baixista, baterista e guitarrista solo, Arjen abriu concursos pela internet. Não demorou muito até que ele encontrasse Johan van Stratum, Davy Mickers e Lori Linstruth.
