Spring Awakening é um musical de rock sobre o despertar sexual da adolescência. A produção foi indicada em onze categorias na edição de 2007 do prêmio Tony, também conhecido como o "Oscar da Broadway", e venceu oito: Melhor Musical, Melhor Direção de Musical (Michael Mayer), Ator Coadjuvante em Musical (John Gallagher Jr.), Melhor Livro para um Musical, Coreografia, Orquestrações, Partitura e Iluminação.
