Biografia:
This Is Spinal Tap é um documentário sobre uma banda fictícia chamada Spinal Tap, dirigido por Rob Reiner e lançado em 1984. O filme satiriza o comportamento e as ambições musicais das bandas de hard rock e heavy metal da época, bem como as tendências hagiográficas dos documentários então produzidos.
Embora Rob Reiner e os três atores principais tenham sido creditados como os escritores do filme, grande parte foi filmada ad libitum, e muitas horas de gravação foram feitas antes que Rob editasse o filme.
