James Hugh Loden (nascido em 01 de maio de 1929), conhecida profissionalmente como Sonny James, é uma americana de música country cantor e compositor mais conhecido por seu hit de 1957, " Young Love ". Apelidado de Southern Gentleman, James tinha 72 países e parada pop sucessos 1953-1983, incluindo uma seqüência de cinco anos, de 16 de reta entre seus 23 sucessos número 1. Vinte e um de seus álbuns alcançou o top ten país de 1964 a 1976. Ele é membro do Country Music Hall of Fame .
