Biografia:
A banda começou com o nome de Zilch, e era formada pela banda de apoio do trio dc talk. A formação inicial da banda era Mark Lee Townsend (vocal), Jason Halbert (teclado), Otto Price (baixo).
A Zilch gravou o seu primeiro álbum “Platinum”, em 1997 sob o selo Gotee Records, mas esse albúm acabou tendo pouquíssima visibilidade. Logo Mark Townsend Lee deixou a banda e foi substituído por Jeff Deyo.
Em 1999 a banda lança o primeiro albúm já com o nome Sonicflood.
