Solomon Burke (ou mundialmente denominado The King of Rock 'N Soul ou Big Soul) (Filadélfia, 21 de março de 1940 - Amsterdam, 10 de outubro, de 2010) é um cantor e compositor de música soul, gospel e rock americano, responsável pela introdução de ritmo gospel nas músicas de soul e rock & roll.
De pregador a figura lendária da soul, do rock e da country, o cantor e compositor norte-americano Solomon Burke já foi considerado «O Bispo da Soul» ou «O Rei do Soul Rock». Com justiça!
