Biografia:
O músico norte-americano nascido em Silver Spring, Maryland, é pioneiro no gênero lo-fi, que nasceu a partir do rock alternativo. Começou gravando músicas em fitas K-7 em sua própria casa e não demorou a assinar com o renomado selo Drag City. O início da carreira de Callahan é bastante experimental e marcado pelo uso de instrumentos e equipamentos de gravação obsoletos. Este tipo de aproximação da música não foi tanto uma opção estética
